Меня зовут Саша Карельский. И я поздравляю весь цивилизованный мир с международным днем знаний, который прошел совсем недавно!

1 сентября Димаш Кудайберген успешно поздравил своих земляков с этим праздником и пожелал:

Никогда не уставать на пути покорения вершин!

Меня вдохновила его речь и я решил сегодня для всех нас подготовить небольшую общеобразовательную статью.

Тема статьи очень важная и актуальная — это престижная музыкальная премия Грэмми, которая обязательно должна быть в коллекции Димаша! О ней и будет сегодня мой рассказ.

Вручение премии Грэмми является одним из крупнейших ежегодных событий музыкальной индустрии.

«Грэмми», целиком полагающаяся на экспертное мнение — для музыкального мира то же самое, что «Оскар» для кино, «Эмми» для сериалов и «Тони» для театра.

Откуда она взялась? Кто выбирает победителей? Почему категорий так много?

Сегодня я расскажу вам всё, что нужно знать об одном из самых важных музыкальных вечеров в году.

Grammy – одна из самых престижных и известных наград в мировой музыкальной индустрии. Она была учреждена 14 марта 1958 года Ассоциацией звукозаписывающих компаний США (The Recording Academy).

Победители Грэмми избираются голосованием членов Академии звукозаписи, в которую входят: создатели музыки, продюсеры, поэты-песенники, композиторы, арт-режиссеры и инженеры.

Церемония награждения

Национальная академия предлагает два вида членства — участник (партнер) и выборщик.

Все выборщики являются продюсерами, исполнителями или звукоинженерами, принявшими участие в создании как минимум шести коммерческих композиций. Именно они выбирают исполнителей, песни и альбомы, которые будут номинированы на Грэмми.

Номинанты на премию

Ежегодно Национальная академия составляет список возможных номинантов на премию Грэмми. Партнеры и выборщики Академии предлагают кандидатуры исполнителей, присылая свои варианты по электронной или обычной почте.

Номинантом на Грэмми может стать любой исполнитель или релиз, который был зарегистрирован Академией. При этом, чтобы побороться за получение Грэмми, запись должна выйти в США в период с 1 октября прошлого года по 30 сентября текущего года.

Все песни и альбомы, вышедшие после установленного срока, автоматически попадают в список номинантов на следующий год.

Номинации для участников

Грэмми – самая высокая награда, которую музыкант может получить за свои труды. Но существует «большая четверка» номинаций, которые считаются самыми важными в Грэмми:

Запись года, Альбом года, Песня года, Лучший новый артист.

«Song of the Year» (песня года) – награда за саму песню, а не за ее исполнение. Ее присуждают авторам лирики и музыки.

«Record of the Year» (запись года) – оценивает песню целиком, какой мы слышим ее в релизе. Эта награда включает исполнение песни, ее ценность и технику записи. «Запись года» присуждается исполнителям, продюсерам и инженерам звукозаписи.

К сожалению, только небольшая часть победителей объявляется во время церемонии награждения в прямом эфире. А официальная часть мероприятия обычно ограничивается четырьмя категориями и лучшими альбомами в жанрах: «Rock», «Country», «R&B» и «Rap».

Эффект Грэмми

Если артисту посчастливилось получить премию во время прямой трансляции, то его альбом ждет ошеломительный успех, что называется «Эффектом Grammy».

Трофеи Грэмми изготавливаются вручную в Колорадо. Первые статуэтки были сделаны из свинца, но теперь используется специальный сплав цинка, который называется «grammium».

Изготовление каждой фигурки Грэмми занимает от 15 до 20 часов. Граммофоны, которые раздают на церемонии – не настоящие. Это пустые награды, которые можно целовать, обнимать, бросать, и даже дарить.

После того, как «Академия записи» предоставляет список победителей, то на фигурки наносятся лазерные гравюры, и победители получают свой приз в течение 60 дней.
